Evesham Abbey was an imposing structure: over 300 foot high and occupying a site of circa 90,000 square foot. It is believed to have been similar in design and proportions to the neighbouring abbeys of Gloucester, Tewkesbury and Worcester. Many tourists visit Evesham and its Abbey Park but are unaware of its ancient and sacred history or its importance in English history.
We are in the throws of editing the website, to bring it up to date and hopefully to make it easier for you to find out about the Trust and its project on the Abbey site. Therefore, there are some pages that are incomplete and others that are now redundant but still appear in the structure of the site. Please bear with us while we do the final changes.
We are now selling Christmas cards. The details of the card can be downloaded by clicking on the link in the documents page. Cards can be ordered from email@example.com.
The current focus is on the conservation project which will enable and inform the later projects. The programme has been structured as a series of separate projects
